Bringing our Gifts to God
We come to church this Sunday to give thanks for the desire and commitment of our forefathers to erect and maintain a beautiful building for us to worship in. In our three large stain glass windows are reminders of what is important for the church.

1. “Feed my sheep” (window on left)
The Ministry of Word and Pastoral Care -  John 21v15-17

2. “Put on the whole armor of God” (window on right).
Discipleship and Prayer - Ephesians 6v10-20

3. “Let your light so shine before men” (centre window)
Mission and Outreach - Matthew 5v13-16

Today we continue to hold these as important priorities for our church, and this is reflected in our Kirk Session working groups.

On our special Gift Day let us celebrate the vision of our forefathers and pray that God will enable us to carry it forward to the next generation.

Bringing our gift ………of Prayer

The church building will be open this afternoon for silent giving and prayer from 4-6pm.  You are invited to come and walk quietly around the church and use the sights that you see t o lead you to pray for the ministry of our church.  You can sit on the seats at the front and pray for the children of our church or sit around the communion table and pray for our elders, or stand at the pulpit and pray for those who preach each week, etc. If you meet someone you want to chat to,  just make your way to the stage  and pour yourself a cup of tea.

Come for ten minutes or half an hour.
Come on your own or come with a friend or as a family.
Come and pray for your church.
