“It takes a whole church to raise a child” Starts on Sunday 24th September at 6pm. The Kirk session have planned a series of monthly evening services to be held at 6pm on the 4th Sundays. Invitation leaflets are available on the tables and from your district elder. As we seek to encourage younger people to grow up as part of God’s family – both knowing Jesus and sharing his family the church. Join us as we consider the role which each of us can play. The format will be video with discussion questions and the members of Kirk session will lead the discussion groups each evening.  Small Groups and Prayer Times. The Program for the rest of the years is available along with a copy of the first bible study. This term we will be looking at the five ‘solas’ of the reformation. Significant in the 500th anniversary of the reformation but more significant if we truly want, as the reformers hoped, to be a church that is ‘reformed and always reforming’. You will see a number of special events in our midweek program and note that we will hold a prayer meeting each week, if not during the week due to bible studies or another event then we will meet at 8am on Saturday morning in the Minister’s room. from 7-9pm at the Manse, 46 King Street. A Church Family Barbeque is being arranged by Sunday School and Bible Class. All are welcome but to help with planning please let one of the Sundays school teachers know if you are planning to attend. Donations of tray bakes will be greatly received. New Life Choir LIVE ON TOUR Friday, May 19 at 7:30 PM - 9 PM FIRST MAGHERAFELT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 20 Children have travelled from Uganda to share their stories through song and dance. Come along and hear their amazing story! FREE ADMISSION Abaana is bringing hope to children in Africa! www.abaana.org  Starting Sunday 30th April 6-7pm in our Church Hall. Life Explored is a Bible Study that will run for 7 weeks This will be in place of our evening service and will take to format of video talks and discussion groups. There will a separate program for primary school children to enable parent to come along (More details from Richard Campbell). We encourage you to come along and also to invite others.
